Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, has admitted that her new haircut was a symbolic gesture, to mark her leaving her character behind.
“I’m 20 now, so I’m not a child any more. I’ve been on Harry Potter for ten years now, so I felt the need to mark the end of it in some way – I needed some way to say to myself, ‘Right, you’re entering a new phase of your life now’. I needed a change, and that’s what the haircut is about,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
Soon after she finished shooting the final Potter film, Watson went to a hairdresser, handed him a picture of Mia Farrow and ordered him to get rid of her ‘Hermione hair’. (ANI)

Mahesh Babu heroine's sister to enter Tollywood!

Preetika Rao is the sister of Bollywood actress Amrita Rao who was Mahesh Babu's heroine in the Athithi movie. She is all set to debut in films as second heroine in Shriya Saran's Chikku Bukku movie.

Even though her movie is yet to release in Tamil Nadu, several Tollywood producers have taken note of her. Dasari Narayana Rao and others who got her resume few days back are looking forward to casting her in their next films according to sources.

And also her and Shriya Saran's Tamil movie is also slated to be dubbed into Telugu.

Looks like RGV is back to controversial films after his entertaining ‘Katha Screenplay, Darsakathvam: Appalraju’. Varma has mentioned in the twitter that his next film would be on ‘Rajakeeyam’. Well, the maverick director seems to have taken decision after looking at A.P’s hot environment.

RGV tweeted in Twitter, “Seeing the incredible drama unfolding I have developed this tremendous desire to do a film called ‘Rajakeeyam’. Raajakeeyam will deal with behind the scenes of political mechanisms and political psychologies.”

RGV added that his earlier Bollywood films, ‘Company’ was about underworld politics and ‘Sarkar’ was about family politics but he never ever made a film on political politics. Well, the state politics seem to have given RGV a new story line. So let’s watch Varma’s political politics too on-screen.

It is known news that the film ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju’ is currently gearing up for release and before that, the audio has been making rounds. One song titled ‘Mayabazaar…’ caught the attention of many and the expectations were doubled when they heard that it was more like a spoof.

True to the message, the song turns out to be a spoof on the top league actors. Some of the instances are silent movie with dialogue king Mohan Babu, making Chiru do a better step than dai dai daamma, teaching Kamal a better move for Sagara Sangamam.

Out of all, the best shot that got the maximum response was the Balayya scene wherein hero Sunil slaps his thigh in the most entertaining manner. Those who were watching the clip during the release of this song ended up with roars of laughter seeing the Balayya style. Looks like more is in store when the film releases.

It is often believed that a good onscreen pair makes up for a large amount of crowd pulling. That’s why we have the ‘golden pair’ concept. While Bollywood has Shahrukh- Kajal, Akshay- Katrina etc, even our Tollywood seems to have its own pairs. However, there is a lot of passion added to our folks.

It is heard that Jr.NTR when visited Hampi, suddenly bent down and kissed the land there. He later revealed the reason as, "This is the land where our emperor Krishnadevaraya walked. And my grandfather and babai donned the roles. I hope to do this role one day"

Tollywood beauty Trisha for the first time acts with her dream hero Kamal Hassan in Tamil film ‘Manmadhan Ambhu.’ During the shooting, she said that she learnt so many things from Kamal including the right pronunciation of Tamil language. She said, “Even after working 100 films with him still there will be something left to learn from him. He is just like walking encyclopedia of film industry. He not only taught me how to pronounce the words correctly but also made me sing a complete song in this film. I really understood how to respect our mother tongue from Kamal Sir. If, one doesn’t like to speak in their mother tongue, then he or she should be ashamed of themselves.”

As if he plans to strike while it is hot, RGV is releasing his Rakta Charitra-2 on 3rd of December. Vivek Oberoi, Surya, Priyamani and Radhika Apte have played the lead roles in this movie. RGV said that, there will be no villains or heroes in the second part except characters and their performance to suit the situations. Madhu Mantena, Chinna Vasudeva Reddy and Raj Kumar have co produced this movie.

Balayya babu's Sri Ramanjaneyam

Bala Krishna’s new film, ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ was grandly launched recently with few top celebrities. The latest news is that a set worth 1.5 crores is being erected for the film. The set is said to be the ashram of Valmiki in the film. The movie is all set to start its regular shoot from 2nd December.
This Bapu directorial has Bala Krishna as Lord Rama, Nayantara as Sita, Srikanth as Lakshmana and Akkineni Nageswar Rao as Valmiki. There is also a buzz that Nandamuri Tarakaratna playing the role of Bharatha in the film. However, it is not officially declared by the film-makers yet.

We have earlier informed to our viewers that Mahesh Babu‘s  new film, Dookudu has completed its first schedule in Turkey. The second schedule of the film has commenced from today in Hyderabad. Samantha is playing the female lead opposite Mahesh in the film.
Successful film-maker, Srinu Vytla is directing the film and Achanta Ram, Achanta Gopinath and Anil Sunkara are producing it under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Thaman is scoring the music for the film.The other casts include Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Shayaji Shinde, Vennela Kishore etc.
