Next project of mani ratnam

One of the ace director in South Indian Industry Mani Ratnam is looking for his next project. As per sources, this film will be based on the popular novel "Ponniyin Selvan". This novel is said to be 15th century historic fiction. It has 2400 pages written in five volumes. It is story about the one of the greatest kings in Tamil history named Arulmozhivarman. It is learnt that Mani Ratnam has chosen 80 important pages from it for directing this film. Currently, he is busy with pre-production works of the film. He is planning to shot most of the film in Kerala. More details of the film is expected soon. Mani Ratnam's films has always been craze among the audience as he is the the only director who presents the film in an unique manner. His last film "Raavanan" (Villian in Telugu) with Vikram ,Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles has not reached upto the expectations
