Though it is denied at several instances, the underlying truth is that caste feelings run high in the Telugu cine circuit. Usually, that is attributed to the Kamma group that has a very dominant presence in Tollywood. However, it now appears that another group is slowly taking over.

Sources say that they have formed a group and are sharing a strong bonding. The buzz is that they are helping each other and some are wondering will they put a check on the Kamma gang.
Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Sunil, Krishnudu, Subbaraju etc are some of the key members and though they are a group, the good thing is they welcome individuals from other groups as well. There is no caste chauvinism in their group which is being appreciated. Unity is good but not chauvinism and many say that is where the Nandamuri family lost out.
